Cantine Winepub

Cantine is an exceptional venue and a great and spacious place to host any event! We did our wedding reception at Cantine in November 2023 and hosted 80 guests. Our guests enjoyed the flow of the space. With 80 guests, it didn’t feel crowded one bit. Some were outside on the patio with the twinkling lights, some were cozied by the fireplace, some were dancing on the dance floor, it truly is like hosting in a large beautiful and cozy room without the hassle of hosting and cleaning up. The design of Cantine’s spaces helped guests move around and enjoy everyone’s company better and that’s what we were looking for in a venue. A fancier and beautiful setting where everyone can still feel at home. Also, it’s very affordable! Something you can’t find anywhere in Santa Cruz. Keiki helped us every step of the way and would meet with us and answer all our questions and needs. A special shout out to all the staff and their service! They were all super friendly and hospitable and helped us out the whole time. The food and drinks kept on coming and not one guests felt not taken care of. Our guests all talked how much they loved being there and my husband and I truly got our dream wedding location! It was hands down the best! Clarissa & Robert

I'm not sure if the blond woman is the owner or a manager but both times I've been here she's been just lovely with incredible customer service and a smile. The wine list is not extensive but they have a lovely vetliner. Lots of different places to sit and get cozy-it's a great spot for a first date. Outdoor seating is also very pleasant.

This place is such a vibe! Delicious wine & lots of variety, superb service, and great views. Definitely coming back soon!

The wine is okay. Our server forgot to put in our food. And trying to pay and leave took a little too long. But the atmosphere is nice.

This was my second visit and this time I didn’t have any wine or appetizers. The first time I had their deviled eggs, flatbread and rose. No complaints and the ambience is great. Definitely recommend for an afternoon visit with friends or even a business meeting or date.

Excellent atmosphere, a great place to just hangout during the day or visit in the evening for a more formal date. The fare is well priced and tasty, served simply but nicely. The decor is a tasteful colorpop rustic scheme, with a comfy tasting room and an open bar/restaurant layout. There's also a patio with ample seating. The host Sebastian was extremely convivial and helpful, he really made our experience!
